A green oasis for everyone to enjoy in the heart of busy Dalston. Open 7 days a week, 12 months a year, with a full programme of creative, cultural and volunteering activities.
Firstly, a real hidden gem located opposite Dalston Junction; and just off Kingsland High Street; this cosy garden built on an old railway line. It’s maintained by an active community growing vegetables, plants and trees. Secondly, you can snuggle up with a blanket; in the quirky seating area decorated with street art and disco balls on a wintery day. Or also visit in summer and have a delicious meal by the vegetable and flower beds. Either way, a visit to Dalston Eastern Curve Garden makes for a great outing.
During the month of May, the Garden is open every day. From 11am until 7pm and until 10pm on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.
Certainly, our spectacular tulips in pots have finished flowering for this year, which always makes us feel a bit sad. But in addition, this month’s show-stopper plant Allium; ‘Purple Sensation’ is popping up all over the Garden in all its purple glory. Every May when visitors see them, they ask us ‘What is that amazing giant lolly-pop flower?’ Close cousins of onions, Alliums are bulbs which we plant here every Autumn. And the bees love them too!
Moreover, our Cafe is open daily during Garden times, selling:
